(1.) Purpose and Scope

The Silent Response Gaming (“SRG”) Code of Conduct (“Code”) establishes the behavioral, ethical, and communication standards required of all members, staff, partners, and affiliates. This Code applies across all SRG-operated platforms, including but not limited to Discord, community websites, voice channels, in-game environments, and social media extensions managed or endorsed by SRG.

The primary purpose of this Code is to ensure a safe, organized, and professional environment where all individuals can participate without fear of harassment, misconduct, or unfair treatment.

(2.) RESPECT & INTEGRITY

Members are expected to uphold SRG’s core values: integrity, respect, inclusion, accountability, and professionalism. All actions taken within or representing the community must reflect these principles.

Our core values, along with the respect and integrity we show toward every member of the community, help us maintain a safe, fair, and professional gaming environment. Below are bullet points that outline how to uphold professionalism at all times. SRG has zero tolerance for behavior that goes against these standards.

Section (2.1)

  • Please treat all members the way you would want to be treated. We are a brotherhood/sisterhood and expect all members to be welcomed with open arms.

  • Please make all members of SRG feel welcomed at the time of them joining, make them feel included.

  • Respect all leadership members and their decision making, the leaders are here to ensure the safety and fairness of SRG.

  • Members of SRG is required to treat everyone equally and refrain from favoritism. If you feel there is favoritism happening report it immediately.

Section (2.2)

  • NO Harassment or targeted hostility against any SRG Member

  • NO Discrimination of any form this includes but is not limited to (racism, sexism, age, gameplay proficiency, financial status, ethnicity, gender, identity, disability, nationality, sexual orientation, background or any other personal attribute.

  • NO Disruptive, toxic, or inflammatory conduct

  • NO Abuse of authority or manipulation of members

  • NO Actions that undermine community stability or reputation

  • NO member left behind (Do NOT leave members behind unless agreed to leave game together)

(3.) Anti-Harassment & Non-Discrimination Policy

SRG enforces a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or abuse based on race, ethnicity, gender, identity, age, disability, nationality, sexual orientation, background, gameplay proficiency, or any other personal attribute.

Harassment includes:

  • Verbal insults or demeaning comments

  • Threats, intimidation, or coercion

  • Unwanted persistent messaging

  • Sexual or explicit conduct toward members

  • Doxxing or sharing personal information

Any violation may result in immediate disciplinary action, including removal from the community.

(4.) Compliance With Game, Platform, and Legal Requirements

Members must comply with all SRG policies as well as the rules outlined by:

  • Game publishers and developers

  • Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines

  • Applicable regional laws regarding communication and digital activity

Cheating, exploiting, or participating in activities that violate game TOS or platform regulations will result in disciplinary action, including immediate removal from SRG.

(5.) Communication & Interaction Standards

All communication must remain respectful, constructive, and appropriate. This includes text, voice, video, and any form of media shared.

Prohibited communication includes:

  • Excessive profanity directed at individuals or in any SRG discord channel.

  • Hate speech, slurs, or derogatory language

  • Explicit, violent, or graphic content

  • Spam, flooding, or mass pinging

  • Political, extremist, or divisive content

  • Malicious rumors, instigation, or drama-baiting

Members are expected to use channels for their intended purpose and maintain professionalism when interacting in any SRG-affiliated space.

(6.) REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN

Below are the requirements to be accepted into SRG. These standards help us maintain maturity, strong communication, and positive intent within the community.

  • Must be 18+ years of age

  • Must have a working and clear headset

  • Must have the willingness to learn and help SRG grow in a meaningful way.

  • Must have discord

  • Must be on one of the 3 platforms: Xbox, Playstation or PC

  • Must be active as much as real life is allowing you to be

(7.) Discord-Specific Rules

All SRG Discord members must adhere to the following regulations in addition to the above policies:

(7.1) Usernames, Profiles, and Status Messages

Usernames, profile pictures, and status messages must not contain:

  • Offensive or explicit content

  • Hate symbols or extremist imagery

  • Impersonation of SRG staff or public figures

(7.2) Channel Etiquette

  • Follow channel descriptions and post only relevant content.

  • Refrain from derailing conversations or spamming.

  • Use proper channels for support, appeals, or staff communication.

  • No backseat moderating — concerns must be reported through proper processes.

(7.3) Voice Channel Conduct

  • Maintain clear and respectful communication.

  • No ear-rape, excessive background noise, or intentionally disruptive sound.

  • Entry into private or restricted channels without authorization is not permitted.

(7.4) Media and Link Sharing

Sharing media must follow safe-content rules:

  • No NSFW/NSFL content

  • No malicious links

  • No unauthorized advertisements, promotions, or clan recruiting

(8.) Privacy, Security & Confidentiality

Members must respect the privacy of all individuals within SRG. This includes:

  • Not sharing personal information of others

  • Not disclosing internal SRG discussions or staff-only content

  • Not circulating screenshots of private conversations without permission

Violation of confidentiality may result in immediate removal.

(9.) Ethical Integrity & Honesty

All participants must act honestly and transparently. Prohibited behaviors include:

  • Impersonation of staff

  • Providing false information during applications or investigations

  • Scamming, fraud, or attempting to deceive members

  • Manipulating or exploiting others for personal gain

  • Poaching members from other communities, if they want to leave their community it has to be their decision

  • All members of SRG must be and only be apart of SRG. (NO dual clanning or clan hoppers)

(10.) Representation of SRG

When wearing SRG tags, participating in organized events, or representing SRG publicly, members must demonstrate professionalism. Misconduct under SRG’s name is subject to disciplinary review.

  • SRG Clan tag must be present at all times unless instructed otherwise

  • Name change is optional not required

(11.) Cooperation With Staff

Members are required to comply with reasonable requests, inquiries, or instructions from SRG staff. Failure to cooperate with an active investigation, review, or disciplinary inquiry may lead to escalated consequences.

(12.) Conflict Resolution Procedures

Members should attempt peaceful, respectful resolution of minor conflicts. If a dispute cannot be resolved privately, members must seek assistance from staff.

Prohibited behaviors include:

  • Retaliation

  • Leaders that are married or in a personal relationship cannot be a direct report to each other. However, they can work in tandem with each other and whichever member is in the assisting/support role will report directly to the next highest rank. Supervising members cannot handle reports about their spouse, rewards or awards or approve request made by their spouse. What we cannot allow is a COO married or has a personal relationship with a board member!

  • Public confrontation or escalating disputes

  • Weaponizing reports or making false allegations

(13.) Disciplinary Actions

Violations of this Code may result in actions including:

  • Verbal or written warning

  • Temporary channel or platform restrictions

  • Temporary suspension

  • Removal from specific roles or divisions

  • Permanent removal from SRG and all platforms

  • Blacklist from SRG as a whole

Severity depends on the nature and frequency of the violation. SRG leadership reserves full discretion to determine the appropriate response.

(14.) Acknowledgment of Requirements

Participation in Silent Response Gaming constitutes acceptance and understanding of this Code. Members are responsible for reviewing updates to this policy and remaining in compliance at all times.
